 The Northelbian Mission in Germany donated a Transmitter for Arusha.

The studio purchased a plot on a hill close Arusha.

Since August 1999 we had a Booster on the Sura hill close to Makumira Theological College. It had been on a test broarcast with great afford.  We thought it would be easy to get electricity there, because the next pole is just about one kilometre away.

But up to now the company refuses to pull electricity up there, because the transformer is too far away.

Since we cannot buy a new transformer,  we looked for a better place.

Closer to Arusha we found a better spot up the Kivesi hill. We got permission from the forest department.

All the Antennas had been dismantled again and moved to Kivesi Hill.
