At a brief ceremony that took place at the ELCT Head Office in Arusha on 7 April this year, the Presiding Bishop urged women to persevere and be courageous to pursue what they believe in. The ELCT Director for Women and Children Work, Mrs. Faustina Nillan, said in an interview that participants of the forthcoming Women Assembly from the ELCT Dioceses to be held 9 to 13 July will also discuss strategies to raise money for creating the centre. The theme of the ELCT Women Assembly to be held at Kibaha in Coast Region is Take heed, be quiet, do not fear, and do not let your heart be faint Isaiah 7:4.
