Tumaini University Makumira to host the 19th ELCT Assembly

The Arusha based Tumaini University Makumira will host the 19th Assembly of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tanzania to be held 12 - 14 August 20 15.

At least 200 members and invited guests are expected to attend the three-day meeting. Theme “Be eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace” (Eph 4:3) is also the theme of the Bible Study. There will be a number of papers to be presented focusing on “Church unity and identity”.

The 18th Assembly was held at Lutheran Junior Seminary Morogoro in 2011.
