• Kanisa limeteua Chuo Kikuu cha Tumaini Makumira (TUMA) kuwa eneo la kuadhimisha miaka 500 ya matengenezo kitaifa.
• Kongamano la kitaifa litafanyika 7/10/2016 ambapo mada mbalimbali zitatolewa na kujadiliwa na wajumbe toka dayosisi 25 za KKKT.
• Tarehe 8/10/2017 itafanyika ibada maalumu ya kilele cha miaka 500 ya matengenezo.

• To set aside a tree planting to mark 500 years of reformation at diocese and parish level
• Celebrations of the Reformation to be observed by dioceses, parishes, institutions and the church at the national level
• All parishes to prepare for a mass choir
• All choirs to prepare for a music extravaganza
• The 500th anniversary reformation week runs 1 – 8 October 2017

• Marks the beginning of the celebrations
• A special church service needs to be conducted
• Someone who is an authority on church history needs to be available to teach the purpose and the historical background that led to church reformation
• A choir festival

• To be earmarked as a youth day.
• Tree planting
• Blood donation when possible
• Visit the needy in the community in order to assist them

• A special day for men
• Men and diakonia service
• Pray for the sick
• Cleaning the environment
• A consultation for men and boys

• A special day for women
• Women and diakonia service
• Pray for the sick
• Cleaning the environment
• A consultation for women and girls

• A special day for the church institutions at all levels
• Emphasis during religious classes should be on the Reformation
• Community service
• Obtain information on the history of the Reformation
• Blood donation when possible

• A special day for children
• A pastor to lead a church service for children
• A play
• Choir or special songs

• A day for all the people participate
• Cleanliness of the environment
• Music festival

• The climax of the celebrations
• Only one service should be held if possible
• A mass choir should perform on that day
• Music festival

• The church has chosen Tumaini University Makumira (TUMA) to host the national celebrations to mark the 500th anniversary of the Reformation
• A consultation will take place on 7/10/2016 during which a number of papers will be presented and discussed by representatives from all 25 dioceses of the ELCT
• On 8/10/2017 a special church service will mark the climax of the 500th anniversary
