The LWF president plans to visit Tanzania

The President of the Lutheran World Federation (LWF), Archbishop Dr Filibus Musa is expected to arrive in Tanzania for a two-week visit at the invitation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tanzania (ELCT).

During his stay among other activities he is expected to address the Africa Region workshop on gender and child rights to be opened in Dar es Salaam Tuesday 10 October 2017.

It is the first time Dr Musa visits Tanzania since he was elected President at the Assembly of the global Lutheran communion held in Windhoek, Namibia in May this year.

After the workshop Dr Musa will travel to Mbeya in the Southern Highlands to attend the Lutheran Mission Cooperation (LMC) Round Table.

LMC is a joint instrument of coordination and cooperation between ELCT and her partners from Europe and America.
