Kanisa
kuwa mwenyeji wa mkutano wa mabalozi wa elimu
Kanisa la
Kiinjili la Kilutheri Tanzania (KKKT) litakuwa mwenyeji wa mkutano
wa Pili wa Kimataifa wa Mabalozi wa Elimu utakaofanyika Arusha
kuanzia tarehe 22 25 Novemba 2018. Taarifa kwa vyombo vya
habari iliyotolewa na Katibu Mkuu wa KKKT, Bw. Brighton Killewa,
imesema kwamba mkutano huo ni sehemu ya kumbukumbu ya miaka 500
ya matengenezo ya Kanisa.
Mkutano huo
wa mabalozi wa elimu umeandaliwa na Jumuiya ya Makanisa ya Kiinjili
Ujerumani (EKD) ili kujenga mtandao wa Shule za Msingi, Sekondari
, vyuo vya Ualimu pamoja vyuo vya juu vipatavyo 500 duniani kwa
lengo la kuinua kiwango cha elimu na kutumia zaidi mawasiliano
kusaidi amani katika utoaji elimu. Kauli mbiu ya mkutano ni Mchango
wa Mawasiliano katika kuinua ubora na amani katika utoaji elimu
(Communication as a Contribution to Educational Quality and Peace
Education).
Mkutano huo
utawakutanisha wadau wa elimu wapatao 75. Kutoka nje ya nchi watakaoshiriki
mkutano huo ni 61 na wengine ni kutoka Tanzania. Washiriki wa
Tanzania ni pamoja na waratibu wa elimu kutoka Jumuiya ya Makanisa
Tanzania (CCT) na wa Makanisa yaliyo chini ya CCT yaani Moravian,
Presbyterian, Anglikana, Baptisti, Mennonites na KKKT. Wengine
ni wawakilishi wa vituo vya elimu, shule na vyuo kutoka KKKT.
Aidha washiriki
wa mkutano ni kutoka nchi zifuatazo: Rwanda, Jamhuri ya Watu wa
Kongo, Cameroun, Sudani ya Kusini, Zambia, Madagacar, Zimbabwe,
Ujerumani, Uholanzi, Ufaranca, Uingereza, Poland, Brazil, Argentina,
Bolivia, Haiti, Hong Kong, Ufilipino, Marekani na Tanzania.
EKD (Evangelische
Kirche in Deutschland) jumuiya ya makanisa 20 ya Kilutheri, Reformed
(Calvinist) na Muungano wa Makanisa ya Kiprotestanti katika majimbo
na madhehebu Ujerumani ambayo inawaunganisha Waprotestanti wengi
katika nchi hiyo. EKD iliyoanzishwa 1945 ina makao yake makuu
jijini Hanover.
Hadi sasa
shule, vyuo na taasisi za elimu 732 zimesajiliwa kuwa wanachama
wa mtandao wa GPENr hivyo kupita lengo la awali la kusajili shule
vyuo na taasisi 500. Mkutano wa kwanza wa mabalozi wa elimu ulifanyika
mwaka jana jijini Kigali, Rwanda.

ELCT hosts
education ambassadors meeting
The Evangelical
Lutheran Church in Tanzania (ELCT) will host the Second Education
Ambassadors Assembly to take place in Arusha from 22 to 25 November
2018. A press statement issued by the ELCT Secretary General,
Mr. Brighton Killewa, said that the gathering is one of the resolutions
on Church reformation celebrations by churches in Germany.
The Ambassadors
Conference on Education has been organized by the Evangelical
Church in Germany (EKD) in order to establish a network of 500
primary schools, secondary schools, teachers and higher education
colleges world-wide. The aim is use communication in order to
improve the quality of education and instill peace through education
delivery. The theme of the Ambassadors Conference is: Communication
as a Contribution to Educational Quality and Peace Education.
The conference
will bring together 75 education stakeholders out of which 61
delegates are foreigners while the rest are from Tanzania. Those
from Tanzania include the educations coordinator of Christian
Council of Tanzania (CCT) and representatives of schools under
CCT including Moravian, Presbyterian, Anglican, Baptist, Mennonite
and ELCT.
Participants
of the conference come from Rwanda, DR Congo, Cameroun, South
Sudan, Zambia, Madagascar, Zimbabwe, Germany, Netherlands, France,
UK, Poland, Brazil, Argentina, Bolivia, Haiti, Hong Kong, Philippines,
United States and Tanzania.
EKD (Evangelische
Kirche in Deutschland) is a federation of 20 Lutheran, Reformed
(Calvinist) and United (Prussian Union) Protestant regional churches
and denominations in Germany, which collectively encompasses the
vast majority of Protestants in that country. Founded in 1945,
the EKD headquarters is in Hanover.
So far 732
schools, colleges and institutions have become members of GPENr
network surpassing a 500 mark set earlier. The 1st Ambassadors
conference was held last year in Kigali, Rwanda.
