KKKT Yapata Mkurugenzi Mpya wa Elimu

Kanisa la Kiinjili la Kilutheri Tanzania (KKKT) limemteua Bi Christowaja Gerson Mtinda kuwa Mkurugenzi wa Elimu kuchukua nafasi iliyoachwa na Mwalimu William Kivuyo aliyemaliza muda wake wa utumishi.

Bi Matinda anajiunga na Ofisi Kuu ya KKKT yenye makao yake Arusha akiwa na uzoefu mkubwa katika uwanja wa Elimu na masuala ya kijamii na kiuchumi baada ya kuwa Mbunge wa Viti Maalum Mkoa wa Singida mwaka 2010 hadi 2015.

Amesoma Chuo Kikuu cha Dar es Salaam mwaka 2000 hadi 2004 na kupata Shahada ya Elimu (BA Ed). Na aliendelea na masomo chuoni hapo tangu mwaka 2004 hadi 2006 alipotunukiwa Shahada ya Uzamili katika Elimu (MA Ed).

Kabla ya hapo alitunukiwa Stashahada ya Ualimu na Chuo cha Ualimu Morogoro (TTC) ambako alisoma tangu mwaka 1996 hadi 1998 na alipata Stashahada ya Ugavi (Materials Management) toka Chuo cha Uhasibu cha Dar es Salaam alikosoma mwaka 1994 hadi 1995.

Mwalimu Mtinda alifanya kazi ya ualimu katika shule mbalimbali za Dar es Salaam kati ya mwaka 1998 na 1999. Aliwahi kuwa Afisa Mitihani Mwandamizi wa Baraza la Mitihani la Taifa (NECTA) 2004 - 2006; Mhadhiri Msaidizi Chuo Kikuu cha Mkwawa 2006 – 2010.

Christowaja Matinda ameolewa na Bw. Job Edson Mwakasege na kwa pamoja wamejaliwa watoto watatu: wa kike mmoja na wa kiume wawili.

ELCT employs a new Education Director

The Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tanzania (ELCT) has appointed Ms. Christowaja Gerson Mtinda to take up the position of ELCT Education Director taking over from Mr. William Kivuyo whose term of office has ended.

Ms. Mtinda, who joins the staff at the ELCT head office based in Arusha, brings with her a whale of experience in education and in socio-economic matters having served as a Member of Parliament representing Singida Region (Special Seats) from 2010 to 2015.

She studied at the University of Dar es Salaam between 2000 and 2004 and was awarded a Bachelors Degree in Education (BA Ed) and continued with her studies at the same University from 2004 to 2006 and obtained a Masters Degree in Education (MA Ed).

Earlier she had attained a Diploma in Education offered by the Morogoro Teachers College (1996 -1998). She also has a Diploma in Materials Management offered by the Dar es Salaam School of Accountancy where she was enrolled from 1994 to 1995.

Ms. Mtinda taught at different schools in Dar es Salaam between 1998 and 1999. She was Senior Examination Officer at the National Examination Council of Tanzania (NECTA) from 2004 to 2006 as well as an Assistant Lecturer at Mkwawa University College 2006 - 2010.

Christowaja Mtinda is married to Mr. Job Edson Mwakasege and together they have three children: one girl and two boys.
